  40.       Full list of the features made up for this purpose would be too
  41.       long to be included in here, so I'll make it brief:

  43.         - 2-32 channels supported (nothing new ;)
  44.         - full instrument support w/:
  45.             - multisample support
  46.             - full envelope support
  47.             - autovibrato, fadeout, etc.
  48.             - 16-bit samples are supported but converted
  49.               to 8-bit at the moment
  50.         - nearly complete command support, missing:
  51.             - Glissando control
  52.             - Vibrato and tremolo waveforms
  53.             - Set finetune
  54.             - Pattern loop
  55.             - All panning related commands
  56.         - linear and "Amiga" (period based) frequencies supported
  57.         - variable length patterns, restart position, independent
  58.           master volume, etc., etc.

  60.     NOTE!  PS3M supports only format version $104, which is the one
  61.     of all released versions of FT2, but there are some old modules
  62.     of format $102 (claustr2.xm, shelcomb.xm and some others by
  63.     Vogue / Triton), which can't be played because the $102 format is
  64.     different and not documented (is $104 then? ;).  The solution is
  65.     to load them in FT2 (it loads all XM-formats) and save it in
  66.     version $104 format.

  71.     + You can now supress the startup-banner in the config file.
  72.     + The "Pos" gadget now restarts the song, "Vol" gadget acts as
  73.       mute switch and the play gadget now always loads new song(s).
  74.     - Fixed miscellaneous bugs appeared during the development...
  75.     + Plays samples up to 4 GB (in fact this was there already from
  76.       the very beginning, but the length field was only a word for
  77.       Amiga hardware register "compatibility" (the "registers" were in
  78.       the same order and had the same sizes)...)
